Say "Hello" to My A900

Say 'Hello' to my A900

My new camera finally arrived, but this isn't just another new camera.

Currently, the A900 is the highest resolution DSLR ever made with a 24.6 effective mega pixel 35mm full frame CMOS sensor (yes, even topping Canon's $8000 1Ds Mark III while still maintaining 5 frames per second shooting).

Additionally, the A900 is also the first full 35mm digital SLR to feature in-body stabilization; allowing one to capture photos that would be impossible on any other camera system without a tripod or stabilized lens.

Most importantly, however, the A900 boasts the brightest and one of the largest viewfinders of any DSLR.

It's also the first camera to feature Intelligent Preview — allowing the photographer to take a preview test shot, then adjust exposure/white balance/etc. to the RAW preview image in order to perfect the manual settings for the rest of the shoot. This is going to be a major time-saver for my studio shoots.

Shown here, the A900 with my Carl Zeiss Planar T* 85mm F1.4 ZA.
